2. Summary
This website does not set cookies, does not use tracking scripts and does not embed any third-party content – no external fonts, no embedded maps and no social media plug-ins. For anonymous visitor statistics, we only evaluate the server log files using IONOS WebAnalytics (see section 4). We only process personal data in the cases described below.
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When you access the website, the server automatically stores information transmitted by your browser:
- IP address of the requesting device
- date and time of access
- page or file requested and amount of data transferred
- previously visited page (referrer), if transmitted
- browser type and operating system
These data are technically necessary to deliver the website and to ensure its security and stability. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the secure and error-free operation of the website. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with IONOS. IONOS stores IP addresses in the log files only in shortened (anonymised) form and deletes the log files after eight weeks at the latest. They are not combined with other data sources. For the statistical evaluation of the log files, see section 4.
4. Visitor statistics with IONOS WebAnalytics
To understand how our website is used, we use IONOS WebAnalytics, a service of our hosting provider IONOS SE. The statistics are generated exclusively from the server log files described above. No cookies are set, no scripts or tracking pixels are loaded and no user profiles are created.
In particular, the pages visited, the time and duration of the visit, the previously visited page, browser and operating system, and the approximate region of origin are evaluated. The IP address is shortened before evaluation so that it cannot be traced back to you. We only receive aggregated, anonymous statistics.
The purpose is to improve our website. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the statistical evaluation of the use of our website. Processing takes place under the data processing agreement with IONOS on servers in the EU. The underlying log files are deleted after eight weeks at the latest.
You may object to this processing pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR. As we only receive anonymised data, however, we cannot attribute individual visits to a person.
5. Contact, quotations and orders
If you contact us by email or phone, we process your details (e.g. name, company, contact details, content of your enquiry and attached files) to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries). We delete the data as soon as they are no longer required. Statutory retention periods, in particular under commercial and tax law (up to 6 or 10 years), remain unaffected.
If an order is placed, we process these details together with delivery and invoice data and the drawings and data lists provided in order to perform the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and to meet our statutory retention obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). We pass data on to partner companies and carriers only insofar as this is necessary for the order.
6. Links to other websites
On the contact page we link to OpenStreetMap. Data are only transferred when you click the link; the privacy policy of the respective provider then applies.
7. Encryption
For security reasons, this website uses TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” and the padlock symbol in the address bar.
8. Your rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- access (Art. 15 GDPR)
- rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
- erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- objection to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR)
Simply contact us using the details above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia (LDI NRW), Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany.
9. Other information
We do not use automated decision-making, including profiling. You are not obliged to provide us with personal data; without contact details, however, we cannot answer enquiries.
